Long story short: as of 12.20.2023 The VA has removed all language from their handbook stating what comparables can/canot be used in the comparables sales of an appraisal of a manufactured home. Previous versions of the VA handbook allowed the comparables of the manufactured home appraisal to be strictly stick-built homes if those were the most "like" comparables in the subject market.
Although the VA handbook doesnt directly address it at this time, the Regional Resource centers will confirm the aforementioned.
